Why one number instead of a full set of metrics?

Because a board has two hours and a dozen agenda items. One number, moving in one direction, against a published rubric, is what gets AI onto that agenda and keeps it there. The score is a headline, not the whole story: it opens into two weighted layers, ten-plus scored components, query-level detail by assistant and feeder market, and finally the verbatim answers. Your team works the detail, your board reads the number.

How is the score actually calculated?

Two weighted layers. Layer one, whether AI can read your web presence: structure, schema, speed, content depth, and freshness. Layer two, what AI says when a visitor asks: presence in the answer, rank and prominence, sentiment and accuracy, pillar and theme association, sources cited, and competitive share of answer. Each question is asked three times on each of six assistants, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Google AI Overviews, so we score the pattern rather than a single response. The rubric is published and the weights do not move mid-year, so a rise or a drop means something.

Do you write the content for us?

Accepted Answer

No. We provide content direction inside the platform: what to write about, the angles, working titles, and the themes AI assistants do not associate with you. Your team writes and publishes it, so the voice stays yours. When a project genuinely needs producing, creative and production work is scoped and quoted separately through our Knightstorm Productions partnership.

Do I have to subscribe to the platform to work with you?

No. Strategic counsel, capability building, and fractional counsel are sold on their own. Some destinations start with counsel and decide later what they want measured.

Do you work through agencies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Agencies can sign a Master Agency Agreement and present DAVI co-branded to their destination clients, with the portal and team certification included. There are no white labels and no discounting, so every destination pays the published rate whoever brings them. Agencies not ready for a volume commitment work with us as referral partners.

Monthly. You get a re-scored index, a board-ready executive summary, and a prioritized set of moves for your team and your partners.

Can I see the raw answers behind the score?

Yes. Every figure links straight to the responses it came from. The rubric is published, so your board can question the number and you can answer it line by line.

How do partners fit in?

Accepted Answer

When AI describes your destination, it names your hotels, attractions, restaurants, retail, and events. You choose which partners enroll, each gets their own scorecard and counsel session, and the cost is shared 50/50 between the DMO and the partner.

Do you work with our brand pillars?

Yes, and it's where most of the value sits. Your pillars go into the platform and we measure whether AI associates your destination with each one. A pillar you claim but the answers never carry is the clearest content brief you'll get all year.

Do you cover themes and content direction?

Every month. What your category is talking about, the themes your destination is absent from, and a brief per theme with angles, working titles, and seasonal timing. Your team writes and publishes, so the voice stays yours.

What about YouTube, TikTok, and backlinks?

Both are measured. Video search shows whether your destination is named in the titles, descriptions, hashtags, or transcripts visitors are watching, and which creators own the subject. The earned side covers backlink authority, referring publications, and the sources the assistants cite when they describe you.

Isn't AI visibility a crowded term by now?

It is, and most of what carries that label is a mention counter built for any industry. We call this AI discovery for destinations, because the work is destination work: brand pillars, seasonal themes, feeder markets, a partner ecosystem, and reporting a tourism board will accept.
